I want to congratulate Payton Washington on running a phenomenal time (5:33.33) in the 1500M. That time was fast enough for a national championship, but unfortunately Payton was disqualified for what the officials deemed (impeding a runner).

After a vigorous protest the DQ was upheld.
Payton is no stranger to winning and is consistently gracious to his competition. He often waits at the finish line and shakes all competitors hand as they come across after him.

Adjustments will be made and he will continue to dominate.
